GROUND TRANSPORTATION
Businesses which depend upon ground tranportation have direct access to I-24 North/South Bound Highway. Having this interstate system provides Franklin County Business with interstate transportation access. The relocating and reconstructing of US Highway 64, will provide a four lane highway which connects I-65 to I-24.
Rail transportation is provided by CSX with the only railway transporation connecting Chattanooga, TN to Nashville. The railway runs thru the cities of Estill Springs, Decherd, and Cowan.

Nashville International Airport is host to sixteen airlines which operate 400 flights daily to 89 markets and 49 non-stop markets. Airfield has 4 runways of up to 11,000 feet, including parallels for simultaneous landings and takeoffs. Yearly passengers are estimated at almost 9 million passengers per year and cargo transportation of 75 thousand tons.
Huntsville International Airport
Huntsville International is host to six airline carriers with nonstop flight destinations to 12 cities throughout the United States. The Airport is also home to the International Intermodal Center which services international cargo flights to six international sites and six national sites.
Winchester Municiple Airport
Winchester Munciple Airport is host 2 runways that can accomodate medium intensity aircraft with single wheel up to 30,000 lbs and double wheel up to 42,000 lbs. Yearly airport operations are averages of 5,096 or 98 operations per week. The Winchester Airport offers a variety of services including air charter, air taxi, corporate, freight, business and recreational flyers.
